TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (MNA) In a third friendly match with US volleyball teams, Iranian men scored a 3-2 win against world champion.Slobodan Kova? used his main players for this game where they lost the first set 27-25, but managed to win the second one 25-20 to return to the game.
Iranian team lost the third set 26-24, but won the fourth and fifth sets 26-24 and 15-9 to win the world champion in third friendly match in the United States.
Iran had lost previous games 3-1 and 3-0. The two teams will play the last friendly game on Sunday. Both volleyball teams prepare themselves for the FIVB Volleyball Mens World Championships 2014 which will kick off in Poland on August 30.
