Nasim�The speaker of Iran�s parliament (Majlis), Ali Larijani, congratulated Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the Lebanese political and paramilitary organization Hezbollah, on the anniversary of their victory inthe 2006 Lebanon War.
�This victory marks the potentials and capabilities of Hezbollah in securing the stability, independence and peace in the Lebanon against the Zionist regime of Israel,� Larijani wrote in his letter.

The 2006 Lebanon War was a 34-day military conflict in Lebanon, northern Israel and the Golan Heights, started on 12 July 2006, when Hezbollah resistance forced Israel to lift its naval blockade of Lebanon.
