Irans foreign trade surpasses $33bln in 4 months
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's foreign trade exceeded USD 33 billion in the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2014-July 22, 2014), the latest customs data showed.


The value of Iran's non-oil export stood at $16.097bln and its imports amounted to over $17.65bln in the same period, a report by Iran's Customs Organization said.

According to the report, the country's non-oil exports increased 21.14% and the country's imports showed a 35.78% growth in this period.

An ICO report last month also said Iran exported approximately $12bln of non-oil commodities in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21- May 21).

Iran's non-oil trade in the first three months of the current year totaled $24bln, out of which $12bln were exported goods and the rest $12bln were imported items.

Iran's non-oil exports rose 27.22 and 29.18 percent respectively in terms of weight and value comparing to similar period last year.

In April, a customs office report said that Iran's total trade balance (including its oil exports) with 83 world countries surpassed $92bln last year.

The report said Iran's imports of non-oil goods amounted to $50.818bln last year.
