Iranian vice speaker renews Tehrans support for Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Irans vice parliament speaker emphasized that the country's governing bodies will use all their capacities to defend oppressed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard on Wednesday underlined that the Iranian administration and the parliament as well as the whole establishment have a common roadmap to support the Resistance movements in Gaza, adding that supports for Gaza would continue.
As regards the latest status of the Resistance in Gaza, the vice parliament speaker said, The military capabilities of the Resistance has significantly increased... and today the Resistance groups are able to hit Tel Aviv and shut down Israels most important airport."

Aboutorabifard pointed to the victories of the Resistance Front over the Zionist regime and said the Resistance responses show that military might of Gaza has increased.

Aboutorabifard stressed that the Zionist regime has suffered a humiliating defeat every time it has assaulted the Gaza Strip.

On July 8, Israel launched air strikes on the Gaza Strip. After 10 days of bombardment of the enclave from the air and sea, the Israeli forces started a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

The death toll from one month of Israeli onslaught on the people of Gaza has reached 1,830 with more than 9,400 injured, according to Gazas health ministry officials.

UN figures show about two-thirds of the victims were civilians, drawing sharp criticism from around the world.

On Tuesday 8:00 am (0500 GMT), an Egyptian-brokered deal of 72-hour ceasefire between Israel and Hamas-led militant groups came into effect in the Gaza Strip.

The agreement was reached after a day-long of talks held on Monday in Cairo between an Egyptian delegation and a high-ranking Palestinian delegation.
