Majlis speaker felicitates Muslim counterparts on advent of Eid ul-Fitr

Tehran, July 27, IRNA Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani congratulated his counterparts in the Islamic countries on the advent of Eid ul-Fitr.
Eid ul-Fitr marks the ending of the holy fasting month of Ramdan for Muslims all over the globe.
In a message on Sunday also addressed to a number of ranking figures in the region, Larijani said the spread of brutality, fratricide and religious hatred in the name of Islam is posing a serious threat to the brotherly and sincere ties within the Islamic Ummah.

He said the ongoing catastrophe in parts of the Islamic world is so heinous and heart rendering that it can not be expressed in words.

He said the Zionist regime which is undoubtedly the most dangerous menace to the Islamic world will make the most of the current situation by carrying out genocide and organized crime in the occupied lands and denying a nation its right to reside in its homeland.

He stressed that no one should permit the existing atmosphere created by terrorists and Takfiri groups aimed at sowing discord and triggering wars and religious clashes among Mulsim states push aside the true danger of Zionism and the need for efforts to restore rights of the oppressed nation of Palestine and liberation of the occupied lands.

Larijani underlined that liberation of the Holy Quds and all occupied territories are the real demand of all Muslims worldwide regardless of their ethnicity or nationality.

He reiterated that exchange of views and cooperation among Islamic parliaments will be quite fruitful and constructive in finding a way out of the present crisis and also consolidating solidarity among Muslim states.
