Zarif: Iranˈs enrichment right has been recognized

Tehran, July 23, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in talks with Group 5+1 there is no dispute on the main issue and Iranˈs enrichment right has been recognized, too.
In an interview with IRIB News Channel on Tuesday evening, Zarif said three or four countries talk about the issues of uranium enrichment in Iran, but Non-Proliferation Conference on nuclear weapons once in 1990 and another time in 2010 declared that Iran has the right for enrichment.

He reminded that today there is no doubt on Iranˈs right for enrichment; it will be done in Iran and upon Geneva agreement, sanctions and pressures should be lifted after the final agreement.

Upon Geneva agreement, peaceful goal of the work should be confirmed, Zarif added.

Zarif said that uranium enrichment in an industrial level shows its peaceful activities in the country.

He added that 4.2 billion dollars of Iranˈs assets have been freed and this trend will continue during the four months of extended time for negotiation and furthermore they have also been committed not to impose new sanctions against Iran.
