Chairman of Irans Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani has condemned ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Rafsanjani said on Saturday that recent fatal airstrikes by Israel on the besieged Gaza Strip show how far the Israeli regime can go on oppressing Palestinians.

Rafsanjani also slammed inaction of the international community against the crimes committed by the Tel Aviv regime.

The Iranian cleric added that Israel is committing atrocities against Palestinian people and expels them from their homeland by the US support.

Israel has been pounding targets in Gaza since it started its latest wave of attacks on the coastal silver on July 8.

Palestinian sources say more than 160 Palestinians have been killed and over 1,100 injured during the six-day attacks.

In response, Palestinian resistance fighters fired retaliatory rockets into the occupied territories.

People in Iran, the United States, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, France, Indonesia, Britain and several other countries have taken to the streets, calling for a halt on the Israeli attacks.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that the Tel Aviv regime will not stop its attacks on the Gaza Strip.

No international pressure will prevent us from attacking Gaza, said the Israeli prime minister.
