Tehran, July 12, IRNA The European Court removed the name of an Iranian insurance company from the list of the European Union (EU) sanctions.
According to the court ruling, Moallem Insurance Company is no longer in the EU sanctions list.
Managing Director of the company Mohammad Ebrahim Tahsiri said his company was included in the list of sanctions by the Western countries two years ago when it started insuring Iranian ships.
Following the move, he added, Moallem Insurance Company filed a complaint with the European Court and managed to win the case about four months ago.
He said the company will resume its insurance services for Iranian vessels.
