A senior Iranian military official says Palestinians are close to launching a third Intifada (popular uprising) as the Israeli regime pushes ahead with its atrocities in the West Bank.
The course of events in the Occupied Territories shows...that Palestine is on the verge of a third Intifada and tough revenge against the Zionist regime, Iranian Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said on Wednesday.

The first Intifada took place between 1987 and 1993, while the second one happened in the 2000s.

Jazayeri said the burning to death of a Palestinian teenager last week by the Israeli regime has provoked the worlds public opinion against the Zionist executioners, adding that the Israeli Army and security service appear unable to control the situation.

The anti-Zionist movement has been reinvigorated in the Occupied Territories and the surrounding regions, he added.
Jazayeri said the firm reaction shown by Palestinian resistance fighters to the massacre of innocent people and defenseless children and women in the Gaza Strip heralds tough days ahead for the Zionist regime.
Palestinian teenager Mohamed Abu Khdeir was recently burned alive after being hit with a blunt object on the head, according to post-term exams.

Some 35 Palestinians have been killed and over 300 others injured in Israeli attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Palestinian resistance movements in the besieged Gaza Strip have responded to Israels aggression by targeting towns and cities deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories. The Israeli military said on Tuesday that 130 rockets were fired from Gaza, with 70 hitting different sites.

Following Israels deadly attack on a home in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Hamas said that all Israelis are legitimate targets of its attacks.
