Iranian athlete Reza Ghasemi has exhibited impressive performance at the sixth edition of the Brussels Grand Prix in Belgium as he sprinted to glory and took the 100-meter title in peerless fashion.
On Sunday, the 27-year-old Iranian sportsman clocked 10.20 seconds in the men's 100-meter final at the King Baudouin Stadium, and stood on top of the podium.

He later competed in the mens 200 meters. Ghasemi finished his campaign with a time of 20.90 seconds to land in the fourth spot.

The sixth edition of the Brussels Grand Prix was staged on July 6 at the King Baudouin Stadium in the Belgian capital. A prize money of 15,000 (over $20,000) was awarded to best athletes.

With the Brussels Grand Prix 100-meter crown, Ghasemi booked a berth at the 2014 Asian Games in South Koreas northwestern port city of Incheon, located about 70 kilometers (43 miles) west of the capital Seoul.

The tournament, governed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), is scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 4, with 439 events in 36 sports and disciplines set to feature in the Games.

Incheon was awarded the right on April 17, 2007, defeating Indian capital New Delhi to host the sporting event.
