Tehran, July 1, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Monday ruled out appointment of Mohammad Nahavandian as Iranˈs permanent representative to the United Nations.
Speaking to IRNA, she said the report carried by the press segments is totally wrong.
She said that the press reports that the chief of staff of the presidential office has been nominated as Iranian representative to the United Nations are not correct.
Iran has not appointed any individual for the post by this time, she said.
