Iran has strongly condemned attacks by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as the regime intensifies a so-called search campaign for allegedly abducted Israeli settlers.
Irans Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Sunday said that such atrocities show the aggressive nature of the Israeli regime and are a clear breach of international regulations.
It is necessary that sympathizers with Palestine, humanitarian institutions and legal and international circles make a resolute reaction and take [necessary] measures in condemnation of repeated and daily acts of aggression by the Zionist regime, Afkham added.
She urged all human rights and international bodies to seriously consider supporting the defenseless Palestinian people and pressuringthe Israeli regime to immediately stop its attacks.

Several Palestinians have been killed in new Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip as Israeli forces press ahead with operations to find the three Israeli settlers, who have been missing since June 12.

Over 300 Palestinians, including Hamas members and lawmakers, have been detained in recent days.

Israel accuses Hamas of being behind the disappearance of the settlers. However, the group has denied any involvement.

Hamas says Tel Avivs allegation about the abduction of the three Israeli settlers by the Palestinian resistance movement is aimed at torpedoing the recent reconciliation deal between Hamas and Fatah. In April, Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas signed an agreement to end years of rivalry and form a unity government. The move irked Washington and Tel Aviv.
