Iran, Turkey call for boosting border cooperation

Ankara, June 18, IRNA – Iran Consulate General in Erzurum, Turkey, called for fostering cooperation between the two countriesˈ border provinces here on Wednesday.
 Reza Ghelichkhan made the remarks in a meeting with Governor of Turkish Igdir province Davut Haner.


Referring to the two countries deep-rooted relations, Haner stressed that Iran and Turkey enjoy very close and amicable ties.
The two sides also called for fostering Tehran-Ankara relations in cultural, social and tourism areas.
