Iran ready to take final step towards resolving nuclear issue: President

Khorramabad, Lorestan Prov, June 18, IRNA – If the international community recognizes Iranˈs right for peaceful use of nuclear energy, Tehran will be ready to take the final step towards resolution of the issue, President Hassan Rouhani said here on Wednesday.

Speaking to a large gathering of local people, he noted that Iran is committed to increase interactions with the world.

Referring to Iraqˈs invasion by Daesh (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) terrorist group, the President added that the Iranian nation is ready to help Iraqi people defend their holy sites.

President Rouhani arrived here in this western provincial capital city Wednesday morning on his 5th provincial visit.

During his two-day visit, the President is to meet local residents, officials and war veterans.

He has so far visited Khuzestan, Hormuzgan, Sistan and Baluchestan and Ilam provinces.
