Iranˈs Sunni clerics condemn Daesh terrorist acts

Sanandaj, June 15, IRNA – A group of Sunni clerics from Iranˈs Sunni majority province of Kurdistan in a statement released on Sunday condemned terrorist activities of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group known as Daesh.
 The statement called for vigilance of Muslims towards Zionists and arrogant powersˈ divisive plots.

Daesh is a Salafi organization affiliated to the Al-Qaeda.

The organization was first founded in Iraq in 2004, with the name ˈThe Islamic State in Iraqˈ, with the goal of establishing an extremist Islamic state in every area that was taken by the Al-Qaeda organization.
