TEHRAN June 7 (Shana)--The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) will extend distribution of clean gasoline to all cities across the country.
�Manager of coordination and supervision at NIORDC Saeed Mahjobi said in an interview with Shana that the company has identified a number of pollutants and is planning to remove them through scientific planning and implementation of refining projects.



Solving the people�s problems and meeting their essential needs to clean air requires executive initiatives rather than resorting to political games by deploying media, he said, adding this kind of politicizing the issue will hamper our efforts for taking practical initiatives aimed at reducing fuel problems and air pollution.
We plan to take the best initiative in the shortest possible time to mitigate air pollution and at the same time to serve the Iranian people and the Islamic country, he noted.
NIORDC which is in charge of providing, producing and distributing gasoline in the country, during a short period of sanctions had to blend reformate produced by domestic petrochemical plants with gasoline produced by oil refineries in order to make up for gasoline shortages in the country.
Even though the initiative was useful in the short term to offset the impact of sanctions but NIOPDC has decided to reduce the content of reformate in gasoline and to halt its use in a specified period of time.
