TEHRAN (FNA)- Saeed Jalili, former Iranian Chief Negotiator in talks with the six major world powers, underlined the country's growth in various fields of science, specially in nuclear technology, and said the world powers are now more scared of the country's talented experts than its nuclear sites.
Jalili underlined that the number of centrifuges is not a source of concern for the western powers, adding that what has concerned them is faithful nuclear scientists who have stood against the global arrogance.

Jalili in June 2013, praised the country's experts for their achievements in the field of civilian nuclear technology despite the sanctions and restrictions imposed on Tehran by the West in the last 34 years.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran, despite all pressures against it in the field of peaceful nuclear technology, is today among the top 10 countries in the world and we have made considerable progress in this field," Jalili underlined.

In April 2006, former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran had succeeded in completing the nuclear fuel production cycle at laboratory scale, which made Iran one of the world's 9 established nuclear states. Following the event, April 9 was named as the day of nuclear technology.
