Iran to include another submarine in its Caspian Navy

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Iran is planning to include another submarine in its navy in the Caspian Sea till mid-2015.

A new ship is currently being built for the Caspian navy at the Anzali shipyard, APA reports quoting military sources.

The length of a ship that is now being built with the participation of a Chinese company will make 50 metres.

No detailed information has been reported regarding what weapons the submarine will be equipped with.

According to information, the submarine will be used by the Corps of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution.
