TEHRAN May 19 (Shana)--Irans Petroleum Ministry and National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) will finance energy efficiency projects this year, NIORDC chief said.Abbas Kazemi said 100 billion dollars have been earmarked for financing projects to cap greenhouse gas emissions, improving transportation network and reducing energy consumption in buildings and industries.
He recommended Iranian companies and organizations to take advantage of this chance because such budget allocation may not be made in the next years.
Kazemi said Iran is the second largest energy consumer in the world.
