President unveils 4 communication projects
Tehran, May 17, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday unveiled four communication projects.

President Rouhani attended the Fourth National Communication and Information Technology Festival and unveiled the projects through video conference.


He ordered unveiling of the projects in various corners of the country including Sistan and Baluchestan, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Khuzestan and West Azerbaijan provinces.

By commissioning these projects, 4,100 villages will get access to high speed internet. Also data capacity of optical networks between Tehran and Isfahan has been improved as further as 400 Giga bits per second.

In the meantime, the Iranian route of the Fiber Optical Cable System Trans Asia Europe (TAE) was improved by 400 percent.

Unveiling the distributed cloud data centers for provincial hosting services was another project unveiled by president Rouhani.
