Supreme Leader calls for ending poverty, discrimination

Tehran, May 13, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that poverty and discrimination should be uprooted.

Addressing thousands of people from Ilam province on the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali (AS), the first Imam of Shiites, on Tuesday, Ayatollah Khamenei said the US can not keep Iranian nation backward.

The Paramount Leader said the country would keep going as long as it relies on the faithful youth.
