TEHRAN May08 (Shana)--To support domestic manufacturing, South Pars Gas Complex signed a contract worth more than 110 billion rials with domestic companies.
The contract signed during the second day of the 19th Oil Show between South Pars Gas Complex and Baron as a knowledge-based company for manufacturing three 6.5- megawatt gas compressors and its electronic components.


Managing director of South Pars Gas Complex said the compressors are going to be manufactured in a 15-months period.


He said the complex also signed a second contract with private sector for manufacturing gas compressors worth 6200 billion rials.


Under the contract the compressors will be available in 11 months, he noted.


The 4-day oil show ends tomorrow.
