Islamabad, May 5, IRNA Pakistani ambassadors in the Middle East have opened a three-day conference here to review Islamabad?s relations with Mideast countries.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said special consultations will be held during the conference on Iran-Pakistan-Turkey cooperation.
She told state Radio that the envoys will also deliberate on the avenues to further strengthen Pakistan?s ties with the Middle East, especially in trade, investment and energy sectors.
A large Pakistani community lives in the Persian Gulf states and the conference will discuss measures to facilitate them in the light of the government policy of supporting overseas Pakistanis.
The adviser to the prime minister for foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz, addressed the opening session and said Pakistan enjoys special relations with all Middle Eastern countries.
