TEHRAN (FNA)- Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is due to arrive in Iran tonight to explore new ways for expanding Tehran-Yerevan relations.
The top Armenian diplomat is scheduled to meet with his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, President Hassan Rouhani and other senior Iranian officials during his stay in Tehran.
He will also submit the written message of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, and discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments with senior Iranian officials.
In recent years, Iran and its Northern neighbor Armenia have boosted cooperation, signed agreements on energy cooperation and agreed to cooperate in technology and research and enhance ties in commerce and economy.
