Iran, Pakistan exchange views on regional issues
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian and Pakistani officials in a meeting in Tehran conferred on the latest developments in bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.


Tehran and Islamabad held their annual bilateral political consultations, and discussed all areas of mutual cooperation, including politics, security, economy and cultural issues.

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry led his side in the 7th round of talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Ebrahim Rahimpour in Tehran on April 29, a Pakistani Foreign Ministry statement said on Wednesday.

The talks were held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, it said.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Iran and Pakistan exchange delegations on a regular basis and the two neighboring countries are keen to expedite expansion of their bilateral trade ties.
