Kish Island, Hormuzgan prov, April 29, IRNA � An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shook Kish Island in southern Iran on Tuesday.
According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 16:01 hours local time (11:31 GMT).

The epicenter of the quake was located at some 22 kilometers from the Island.
