Culture Minister hopes Fajr Poetry Fest is held independently

IBNA-At a session for the forthcoming 8th edition of Fajr International Poetry Festival, the known Iranian poet, Abd ul-Jabbar Kakayi said the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ali Jannati hopes from the bottom of his heart that this edition of the festival will be the last one organized and held by the government.
According to theIBNAcorrespondent, Kakayi said: We have the same hope, we want that the poetry associations and unities will be able to run this event without governmental limitations.
The idea of solidarity and preparing the ground for all viewpoints within the legal framework to be introduced was an idea at the center of the 8th edition of Fajr International Poetry Festival. We believe that the governmental organizations should not be led in a way to foreground and back only a special viewpoint, he added.
The 8th Fajr International Poetry Festival will be held in May, 2014 in Tehran.
