Tehran, April 14, IRNA � Iran and China have set up direct cargo shipping line to facilitate trade, it was announced on Monday.
Managing Director of Iran Container Shipping Line Hamzeh Keshavarz said that the shipping line connected Bandar Abbas of Iran with Dalian and Lianyungang port of China.

The route will cut expenses for the shipment of containers between the two countries, he said.

The shipping line will encourage businessmen to ferry their consignments at low cost, Keshavarz said.

It is expected that some 1,500 to 2,000 containers to be shipped per month by the end of 2014, according to the shipping industry owners.
