Commander: Traces of Zionists tricks found in EU anti-Iran resolution

Tehran, April 5, IRNA – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi on Saturday said the Zionist tricks have ended up in an unworthy resolution issued against Iran by the European community.

Speaking to IRNA, the commander made the remarks while criticizing the European Parliament for approving an anti-Iran Human Rights resolution in its recent meeting in Brussels (April 3).

The resolution expressed concern over the alleged violation of human rights in Iran.

Firouzabadi said the resolution was completely ˈcontradictory to the human rights principles.ˈ

ˈAfter making crimes and mistakes in Ukraine, the Europe has again repeated a calculation error regarding the Iranian nation and its Islamic Revolution,ˈ he said.

The major general believed the resolution has once more unveiled the ˈdespicable faceˈ of the EU indicating it could never stop its interfering nature.

The last part of the resolution which is about the rights of homosexuals revealed that the EU was ˈinvesting its last hopes on the dreadful practice which is against the natural rights of people and also against the teachings of all divine prophets including the Prophet of Islam,ˈ Firouzabadi added.
