Tremor jolts southern Iran

Tehran, March 25, IRNA An earthquake measuring 4.1 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale shook surrounding areas of Kang in southern province of Hormuzgan.
According to a report, released by the Seismography Center of Tehran University?s Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 14:38 hours local time (10:08 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 26.93 degrees latitude and 54.89 degrees longitude.

There are no immediate reports on possible damage and casualties.
