Iran not expecting to reach agreement in upcoming talks: FM

Tehran, March 16, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said here on Sunday that the next round of talks with the Group 5+1 would be more serious but no agreement is expected to be reached.

“In this round of talks we will discuss various aspects of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, particularly the issue of enrichment and heavy water reactor of Arak,” Zarif said in a joint press conference with the visiting Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei.

He added that removal of the anti-Iran sanctions is another topic to be discussed during the upcoming talks with the world Sextet (US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany) to be held in Vienna on March 17.
