Baku, March 13, IRNA � Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan issued a statement on March 12, marking anniversary of establishment of bilateral ties in 1992.
The statement hoped for further expansion of the two-way ties in light of determination of their presidents.

Referring to bilateral historical and cultural affinities and bonds, the statement said Iran sincerely wishes welfare and success of Azeri people and said bilateral ties, based on brotherhood, religion and passion, have made the relations distinctive of ties between other countries.

The statement concluded that Iran will continue constant support for Azerbaijan in international arena and said, �Our most important duty is consolidating dimension of mutual cooperation so that a third party would not be able to harm mutual ties.�
