Muscat, March 12, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani arrived in the Omani capital Muscat for a two-day visit Wednesday morning.
Upon arrival, President Rouhani was welcomed by Omani Prime Minister Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said and Foreign Minsiter Yusuf bin Alavi.
While in Oman, President Rouhani will review the outstanding regional and international issues with Sultan Qaboos and other senior Omani officials.
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Central Bank of Iran Governor Valiollah Seif, Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Mohammad Khodadi and several other senior officials are accompanying President Rouhani during his visit.
Sultan Qaboos visited Iran in mid-September at the head of a high-ranking delegation.
