Iran will not allow West to interfere in its domestic affairs

Tehran, March 10, IRNA – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said here on Monday that Iran would not allow West to interfere in its domestic affairs.

Touching on various meetings of visiting EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton in Tehran, Jazayeri asserted that such behaviors are clear violation of diplomatic norms and would pave the way for the future interferences of the West in Iranˈs domestic affairs.

Ashton is better to think about the womenˈs rights in the EU countries, he added.

Ashton arrived in the Iranian capital Saturday evening at the invitation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. This is her first visit to Tehran since 2008.
