Araqchi says Iran not limiting itself to imports from certain countries

Tehran, March 10, IRNA The Deputy Foreign Minister for international and legal affairs Seyyed Abbas Araqchi said Iran will by no means limit itself to imports from certain countries and firms.
He explained that based on the Geneva joint action plan, Iran has by no way been urged to restrict its purchases and imports to a limited number of countries or companies.

He stressed that Iran selects its trade partners only out of its own preference and will.

He further noted that Iran has to cope with certain restrictions because of the unfair sanctions imposed on its trade in recent years a major portion of which is being lifted in the wake of nuclear deal with the G5+1.

Araqchi stressed that safeguarding national dignity and independence has been at top of Foreign Ministry?s priorities especially during talks with the G5+1.

He said Iran will never accept any proposals which that might be in contradiction with its independence and dignity.
