Official: Expert talks with G 5+1 to continue on Friday

Tehran, March 7, IRNA Head of Irans nuclear negotiation expert team Hamid Baeidinejad said talks with Group 5+1 continue on Friday, too.


 
Director General in Political and International Affairs in Foreign Ministry, who is in Vienna, told IRNA that both sides evaluated results of two past days talks ?useful?.


He added that all participating countries attended the meetings with their full expert team.

The new round of expert talks between Iran and Group 5+1 kicked off in Vienna, capital of Austria, on Wednesday.

Baeidinejad is heading Iranian team and Stephen Clement, an aide to EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton is heading Group 5+1 team.

Baeidinejad had already said that the agenda of the talks is to discuss primary expert issues concerning a comprehensive settlement, results of which would be reported to the senior directors of both sides.

Issues like enrichment, Arak heavy water reactor, and nuclear cooperation are on the agenda, Deputy Foreign Minister and senior member of Irans negotiating team Abbas Araqchi had already said.

Next round of talks under leadership of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton is due to start on March 17-19 in Vienna, Austria.
