Iranian national team coach Queiroz to visit Doha

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Iran's national football team coach Carlos Queiroz will travel to Doha to negotiate with the Qatari clubs to allow the Iranian players to participate in the South Africa training camp.



Mehdi Mohammad Nabi, general secretary of Iran Football Federation (IFF), will accompany Queiroz in the trip, which has been scheduled for Wednesday night.

Iran will play Guinea in a friendly on Wednesday and Queiroz will leave Tehran for Doha immediately after the match.

Iran defender Pejman Montazeri is a member of Umm Salal football team while Mojtaba Jabbari plays for Al Ahli.

Iran is poised to hold a training camp in South Africa and Queiroz will negotiate with the officials of Qatari clubs to allow their Iranian players to take part in the camp.

Queiroz and Nabi will return to Iran on Thursday.
