Iran wins title of Greco-Roman wrestling grand prix in Hungary
TEHRAN (FNA)- Irans Greco-Roman wrestling team won the title of Hungarian Golden Grand Prix in Szombathely by grabbing eight medals.
Iran won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the two-day championships attended by 144 wrestlers from 22 federations.

Hamid Sourian, holder of five world gold medals as well as a gold medal in World Olympic Competitions in the category of 55 kilograms, grabbed another gold medal this time in his new weight of 59 kilograms.

Habibollah Akhlaqi weighing 80 kilograms and Taleb Nematpour, 85 kilograms, claimed two other gold medals at the prestigious event.

Omid Norouzi won the bronze medal by defeating Tero Valimaki from Finland in 66kg category. The 71 kg Mohammad Karimi also earned silver medal.

Saeed Abdevali seized a silver medal after being beaten by Danish Mark Madsen in the final match of the 75 kg category.

In 130kg category, Bashir Babajanzadeh earned a silver medal while Yousef Qadeiyan grabbed silver in the 80 kg category.
