Abdolmalek Rigi’s plan to assassinate Ahmadinejad

Nasim—A new Video released of Abdolmalek Rigi, the former leader of Baluch terrorist group Jundallah, showed that the band planned to assassinate Iranian ex-president Mahmood Ahmadinejad.

The video shows him confessing that while then president Ahmadinejad was visiting Sistan and Baluchestan Province in 2008, Jundallah planned to have him assassinated; however, the plot was foiled by IRGC teams at that time.

Rigi also noted that the mission was based on the procedures employed by the US-backed Al-Qaeda.
