KU, Iranian institute sign science agreement
The Karachi Universitys (KU) International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) and the Iranian Research Organisation for Science and Technology (IROST) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation in chemical and biological sciences between the two countries.
The agreement was signed in Iran during a recent visit of ICCBS Director Prof Dr Iqbal Choudhary. Both the institutions agreed to enhance relations between the two universities and to develop academic exchange in the areas of education and research. They also agreed to identify team members to work on joint research projects.

 

Three-day course

The KUs Sardar Yasin Professional Development Facilities plan to hold a three-day course on Total Success Management from March 3 to March 5. The course would be conducted by senior trainer Tanvir Ishrat and would be particularly beneficial for those at administrative positions as well as for teachers.

 

Supplementary exams

The KU announced the MA, double MA, supplementary examination 2012 forms will be accepted up to March 10. The exam fee of both MA previous and MA final supplementary exam is Rs2,700 each. The forms are available at the bank booths of the Silver Jubilee Gate during office timings.
