Pakistan would ‘cooperate effectively’ to release kidnapped border guards

TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (MNA) – Minister of Interior has said Pakistan would positively and effectively cooperate in an attempt to help release kidnapped Iranian border guards.
Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, who was addressing the First Session of Director-Generals of Woman Affairs of provincial governorates in Great Prophet (as) hall today morning, told reporters about the latest measures and actions by his ministry about Iranian kidnapped border guards by Pakistani terrorist group Jaysh al-Adl.

He told that the ministry had meetings with Pakistani sides and that they had promised to cooperate ‘positively and effectively.’

“Pakistan had set off forces to the region for an investigation of the issue,” added Rahmni Fazli, believing that since Pakistan was a friendly neighbor, “we should solve the issue in peaceful conditions far from propagandist provocations.”

He also said that Iran had handed in the necessary evidence to Pakistani side and they expected serious investigation by Pakistan.
