Iranˈs electricity swaps with neighboring countries exceed 2 GW

Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA – Iran swapped over 2,202 megawatts of electricity with its neighboring countries in one day.

The total volume of Iranˈs electricity export to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Armenia and Turkey equaled 1,862 megawatts and the total volume of electricity imports from Armenia and Turkmenistan was 340 megawatts.

Iranˈs electricity swap balance with the neighboring countries reached the positive level of 1,522 megawatts.

Iran has power swaps with its neighboring countries of Armenia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Republic of Azerbaijan, Iraq and Afghanistan.
