Clerics protest on ‘Hussain Who Said No’ to be applied: Minister

TEHRAN, Feb. 22 (MNA) – Iranian Minister of Cultural and Islamic Guidance has said Clerics’ protest over the movie ‘Hussein Who Said No’ will be taken into effect before any public revelation.
Ali Jannati told Mehr News correspondent that “there are different opinions over showing the Shiite infallibles’ faces among the Shiite clerics. Should the infallibles’ sanctity be preserved, portraying their faces is of no problem in some of the clerics’ opinions;” and that “some others believe the infallibles and their progenies sanctity must be preserved with no face portrayal.”

Jananti asserted that " 'Hussein Who Said No' is a historical movie which spot lights the event of Ashura. It took several years to complete, the artists and producers deserve the great encouragement for producing and working on deep and historical religious events like Ashura."
