Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA � Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh here on Saturday said new attractive oil contracts will help lift sanctions against Iran.
He made the remark while talking to reporters on the sideline of the two-day gathering to explore the new structures of contracts in the Iranian oil industry.

He said that there were talks with some US oil companies on the sidelines of Davous conference but no particular negotiations took place.

The Iranian oil minister stressed that all companies including those from the US are keen to enter Iranian oil and gas industry.

He noted that the contracts which were already signed based on old regulations are valid.

Asked to comment on the warning issued against a Chinese contractor working in the Iranian oil industry, he said the company received the warning one month ago and it is expected to take the necessary measures within 90 days.
