Zarif: Iran never accepts any directives

Vienna, Feb 20, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Thursday that Iran never accepts any directives.
Speaking to a group of reporters in Vienna after a meeting with representatives of G5+1, he said the two sides have understanding in some parts and some differences in other parts.

The two sides agreed to continue talks on peaceful nature of Iran?s nuclear program, he said adding that the first part which is interim agreement is being implemented.

In today?s meeting it was supposed to enter the final talks in order to implement the first phase within one year, Zarif said.

?We are determined to reach the conclusion at the earliest in a six-month period and will be terminated by second half of July 2014,? Zarif said in reference to the November 24 interim agreement which took effect on January 1 and will expire in July.

In a meeting EU foreign policy chief Catharine Ashton, the two sides defined framework and principles of the agreement and the experts worked to draw up agenda of the upcoming negotiations, he said.
