New York, Feb 20, IRNA – Iran’s permanent representative in the United Nations strongly condemned terrorist act of Wednesday in front of Iran’s cultural center in Beirut and underlined that the terrorist act is a threat to stability and security in the region and the world.
Mohammad Khazaei, in the session of the Security Council, condoled with Lebanese victimsˈ families and said that the chain terrorist acts aim to create dispute between Muslim people of the region.
He asked world community, especially the UN Security Council , to act against a new wave of violence and radicalism.
Khazaei added today many of representatives heard in the session that representative of the Zionist regime accused Iran of violation of human rights.
In another part of his speech, Khazaei called the issue of law sovereignty very important and said the process of maintaining peace is among important achievements of the UN in crisis management and protecting peace and stability.
