Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani held separate meetings Wednesday with parliament speakers of five Islamic countries including Syria, Palestine, Algeria, Sudan and Qatar.

During the meetings, the President held talks with the foreign officials on the latest international, regional and bilateral issues.


The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 9th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC) that kicked off in Tehran Tuesday morning.

The Iranain President stressed importance of promotion of cooperation among the Muslim countries.

On February 18, President Rouhani held talks with nine OIC parliament speakers attending the PUIC conference.
