Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Wednesday described the unity and vigilance of Muslims as secret of victory that can conquer enemies.In a meeting with his visiting Jordanian counterpart Atef Tarawneh, Larijani criticized the extremist approach of big powers towards region.
Tarawneh is currently in Tehran to attend the 9th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC) that kicked off in the Iranian capital on Tuesday.
Larijani termed the presence of the parliamentary delegations in Tehran as constructive, adding negotiations and cooperation are proper ways to solve the current problems the world of Islamic is facing.
As to Tehran-Amman relations, Larijani said the two enjoy growing ties which will benefit both nations as well as the whole world of Islam.
For his part, the Jordanian speaker praised Irans crucial position in both region and world.
He appreciated the efforts made by Iran to solve the Islamic worlds problems and underlined the need for further expansion of all-out ties between the two brotherly nations.
