TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) � Iran opens the 9th Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union conference on Tuesday; Islamic Republic president attending the session.

In a meeting of Public Committees on Morning in Azadi Hotel in Tehran parliamentarians attended and chairmanship of the Union was transferred from Sudan to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Public Committee includes members from all countries of the Union.

During the meeting Palestine Permanent Committee and Muslim Women Committee will study reports and drafts of statements.

The Conference will continue to Wednesday February 19 and Iran will provide the meeting with a final report of this round of meetings.

Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union had held 7 meetings on expert committees, 32 meetings on executive committee, and 17 meetings on public committee.
