Iran's gas income to hit $42b by mid March

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Managing Director of Irans Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) Salbali Karimi announced that the company would produce 90 billion cubic meters of gas from 14 oil fields by the end of the Iranian calendar year (which ends on March 20), worth 42 billion dollars.
"The total volume of the gas income will hit 42 billion dollars," he said, adding, the company is making 306 million cubic meters of gas daily.

The Iranian oil official said the ICOFC is producing over half of the required gas of the country and covers 75 percent of the country, including 11 provinces.

The company was established in 1999 and is in charge of producing gas and oil from 73 gas tanks, including 46 gas fields and 27 oil fields.
